VARGAS VS McDONELL- A CLASH OF THE UNDEFEATED

The duel for the world super bantanweight vacant championship of the World Boxing Council is on February 25 at the Ice Arena in Yorkshire, England, between undefeated Mexican Rey Vargas and unbeaten Brit  Gavin McDonell.
The World Boxing Council according to its regulations gave the green light for the Mexican, who is the world ranked number one and mandatory challenger to the green and gold crown, facing the highest ranked available, McDonell, who is number two in the World.
Vargas, at 26, has  an unbeaten record of 28-0 with 80% knockout effectiveness; Dominating since he was a rookie division of 55,330 kilograms, accumulating WBC affiliated belts.

McDonell, from Yorkshire, England aged 30 years, has notched up 16 wins without defeat with four knockouts, with two draws conquering the European Boxing Union and the WBC Silver belts.
The clash between the two best exponents at 122 pounds, will take place in the Hull Ice Arena. Rey has a considerable asset in his corner, in the slender shape  of Don Nacho Beristáin, who has guided  26 world champions.
