Filipino slugger Vincent Astrolabio weighed-in at 122.6 pounds during the required 14-Day weight-check ahead of his clash against Cuban former champ Guillermo “El Chacal” Rigondeaux (20-2, 13 KO’s) for the vacant WBC International Bantamweight strap on February 26 at the plush Dubai Marina, United Araba Emirates.
The belt in dispute – the WBC International title – is an important one for the the sanctioning body headquartered in Mexico, the winner getting ranked high in bantamweight world class with increased possibilities for a world title shot.

Protocols need to be cleared first.
