Video: BJJ star Rodolfo Vieira scores third MMA win in Brazil

Brazilian jiu-jitsu legend Rodolfo Vieira continues to win in his MMA career.

Fighting in his home country of Brazil for the second time, Vieira scored his first TKO victory as he defeated Alexander Neufang in the opening round of the fight.

Although he started out training at American Top Team alongside names such as UFC champions Tyron Woodley and Amanda Nunes, Rodolfo Vieira made his camp at Team Nogueira for the fight.

In the main event, former UFC light heavyweight contender Thiago Silva was defeated by Mikhail Kolobegov via unanimous decision. Plus, UFC vet and TUF Brazil 1 alumnus Daniel Sarafian scored a unanimous decision win over Carlos Eduardo.

Rodolfo Vieira has made his name in Brazilian jiu-jitsu by winning five gold medals in the “Mundials,” four more in the BJJ World Cup and two Pan-American ones, as well. He began his MMA career last year at the age of 27. He remains undefeated with a 3-0 record.
