Check out newly crowned UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping take on his son in a grappling exchange.
Michael Bisping’s son, Callum Bisping, has been following his father’s MMA career since he was a child. Callum was seen celebrating in the Octagon with his dad during some of his earliest UFC fights and the teenager recently shared the cage with his family after Bisping’s championship win over Luke Rockhold at UFC 199.
Prior to his middleweight clash with Anderson Silva at UFC London earlier this year, ‘The Count’ revealed in a feature interview with Ariel Helwani that Callum is an avid UFC fan and hopes to follow in his father’s footsteps and embrace a career in mixed martial arts.
Callum competes in local grappling tournaments and there doesn’t seem to be anything stopping his ambitions. In a recent video uploaded by Bisping, he revealed how Callum was eager to challenge him to a grappling match at home in California.
Bisping, who became the first British champion in UFC history by knocking out Luke Rockhold last month, is expected to defend the title against Dan Henderson in Manchester, England.
Bisping has been criticized for accepting the fight, but the 37-year-old (now the oldest champion on the UFC roster) wants to avenge what is largely considered one of the most memorable KO’s in the sport’s history.
