BANGKOK – Thailand’s unbeaten WBC Minimumweight World Champion Wanheng Menayothin (aka Chayaphon Moonsri), will make his next world title defense against Thai compatriot WBC # 5 Panya Pradabsri (34-1, 22 KO’s) on November 27 here in the Kingdom of Thailand.

World champion since November of 2014, the battle will be Menayothin’s 13th world title defense.

A quiet family man, yet superbly effective and skilled in the ring, Menayothin owns an amazing record as the reigning world champion of 54-0.

His awesome numbers are so far smashing Floyd Mayweather’s 50-0 record set in 2017 and Rocky Marciano’s big 49-0 achieved in 1955.

Should Menayothin retire unbeaten as a world champ, he’d write his name in history as the world champion with the best boxing record. Would that happen?

Interestingly, before turning pro in 2007, Wanheng Menayothin was an extraordinary battle-tested Muay Thai combatant who captured Thailand’s Muay Thai Title and became Lumpinee Muay Thai Champion, a top achievement for a Muay Thai warrior. How about that?

Earlier this year, Menayothin promoters were working on bringing their champion to the U.S. for a world title defense there. Unfortunately, we-know-what derailed the good plans.

Hopefully, when this ongoing pandemic is no longer a threat, Wanheng Menayothin will be able to show his boxing talents to a wider audience outside his native Thailand.
