WARD AND BRAND UP TO THE MARK

Two times world champion, Andre Ward (29-0, 15 KOs) and Alexander Brand (25-1, 19 KOs) swop punches Saturday night, at the Oracle Arena in Oakland in a card broadcast by HBO.
Andre Ward enthuses: “I am very excited about the future. I want to be light heavyweight champion and fight with the best of the world. Being world champion in a new division is a big challenge,  but it’s not impossible. I can’t  be over confident, but  I have had great training camp for this match and I wont let you down this Saturday.”
Alexander Brand: “I want to thank all of you for being here. It is a real pleasure for me being here in this city. All I want to do is to give you a great show. I have put in a lot of work, as it is a real honor to  be inside the ring with someone as accomplished as Andre Ward,  with real chance of defeating him.”
