MANILA —- World Boxing Council (WBC) Silver flyweight champion Muhammad “Falcon” Waseem of Pakistan will be making his first title defense against undefeated Giemel “Pistolero” Magramo of the Philippines on November 27 at the Gwanakgu Hall in Seoul, South Korea.
The 12-round title fight is promoted by Andy Kim of AK Promotions with Tsuyoshi Yasukochi as the supervisor.
Korean Jun Bae Lim is the referee while the three judges are Chan-Soo Kim of South Korea Jerrold Tomeldan of the Philippines and Noppharat Sricharoen of Thailand.
The 29-year old Waseem is a native of Quetta, Pakistan but is now based in Seoul. He is managed by Sang Bong Kweon. Waseem is still undefeated with four straight wins with three knockouts.
Waseem won the vacant title by a UD against another Filipino Jether Oliva of General Santos City last July 17 at the Millennium Hilton Hotel in Seoul.
Magramo, on the other hand, is a former WBC International flyweight champion with a record of 17 straights wins and 13 knockouts.
He previously won by a unanimous decision against Renz Rosia last July 16 at The Flash Grand Ballroom of the Elorde Sports Complex in Paranaque City.
Magramo won the vacant WBC International flyweight title against Jeny Boy Boca via a 6th round TKO win last December 12 at the same venue.
