Unbeaten flyweight, Muhammad Waseem (4-0, 3 KOs), from Pakistan, clearly defeated former title contender Jeter Oliva (23-6-2, 11 KO´s), from Philippines this Sunday at the Millennium Seoul Hilton in Seoul, South Korea.
Waseem showed his very able boxing skills to dominate the experienced durable Oliva in 12 rounds, winning the WBC silver belt.
The official results of the judges were: 120-112 twice and 119-113. Waseem`s Promoter Andy Kim, commented: “This is a great victory for Muhammad. I am very proud for him. We are now one important and significant step closer to the world title”.
