Julio César Martínez will finally make the third defense of his World Boxing Council flyweight title, on Saturday, at the Alcalde Arena in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, on a card presented by Canelo Promotions and Matchroom Boxing.
His rival will be compatriot Joel Córdova, ranked number 15, who has a record of 12 wins, 4 losses and 2 draws.
On October 23, JC defeated Moisés Calleros by TKO in the second round. Cordova, for his part, is coming off a first-round knockout win over Otoniel Ortiz in January.
They will star in Guadalajara and it can be watched in more than 200 countries through the DAZN platform. The broadcast will begin at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time and 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time in the United States.
