Unbeaten WBC #8, IBF #9, WBO #9, WBA #14 super middleweight Zac Dunn (21-0, 17 KOs) will be back in action on Friday when he clashes with Carlos Adan Jerez (43-19-3, 18 KOs) over ten rounds on a Barry Michael promotion at the Melbourne Pavillion, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Dunn is coming off an impressive three round stoppage over Les Sherrington in April and also scored a knockout over Rogerio Damasco in round one in February. He made his American debut in October 2015 defeating Derrick Findley in an action-packed ten round bout that received global exposure on ESPN. Dunn is now rated with all the major body organizations and is chasing title opportunities in 2016 against IBF champion James De Gale, WBO champion Gilberto Ramirez or WBC champion Badou Jack.

37-year-old Argentinian Carlos Adan Jerez is coming off a points win over Gustavo Alberto Sanchez last November and is making his second visit to Australia having lost over twelve rounds to former WBA super middleweight champion Anthony Mundine in 2010. Dunn and Jerez have boxed a common opponent in world rated Max Bursak. Dunn defeated Bursak over twelve rounds in 2015 and Jerez was outscored over twelve by Bursak in 2011. Jerez also took former WBC middleweight champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez the ten round distance in 2008.
