The  World Boxing Council is planning, working and also hoping to celebrate a bumper 2017, and it has a lot to live up to, due to a brilliant previous twelve months.
On January 16, the WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder landed an impressive KO  on Artur Szpilka.

Also an extraordinary performances of Román González, who was Lauded  as the first Nicaraguan to conquer four world titles in different divisions, the last one in the super flyweight division. We also remember Francisco Vargas, the super featherweight king who starred in  another spectacular, this time a slugfest against Orlando Salido.

Then the rematch bout between the  bantamweight champion Shinshuke Yamanaka and Anselmo Moreno.

Let’s  recall that night when Jorge Linares traveled to England to win the Diamond WBC title against Anthony Crolla or  the new super welterweight champion Jermell Charlo who thrilled us with a terrific  performance by defeating  John Jackson.

In 2016 we also celebrated the new cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew who knocked out Ilunga Makabu  in the third round and Danny Garcia who became king of the welterweight by beating Robert Guerrero.

We cordially  invite you to watch the next video,  where you can relish and relive a fabulous 2016.
