World Boxing Council bantamweight champion, Japan’s Shinsuke Yamanaka (25-0-2, 17 KO) and WBC super bantamweight champion, Mexican Hugo Ruiz (36-3, 32 KO) will defend their respective titles on September 16, at the Arena Edion in Osaka, Japan.
Yamanaka will grant an opportunity for revenge to former Panamanian champion Anselmo “Chemito” Moreno (36-4-1, 12 KO), after a close fight held last year.
While Ruiz will make the first defense of his crown against former world champion Japanese Hozumi Hasegawa (35-5 and 15 KO) in what’s expected to be a great fight, given the aggressive style of both warriors.
The event will be presented by Teiken promotions.
