The World Boxing Council congratulates the Teiken Boxing Gym, the most representative boxing gym in Japan since 1926, for the great work they have done in managing sanitary protocols in all their activities, protecting the health of their athletes, trainers, and fighters.
A few days ago it was announced that former champion Jorge Linares tested positive for Covid-19, however, thanks to the successful protocol, no one else was infected in the gym located in Tokyo.
The Teiken Boxing Gym, since it reopened after a long quarantine, has strict hygiene and sanitation regulations that make its facilities a safe place for the fighters who train there.
