WBC dream come true and mission accomplished for Yesenia Gomez

Accompanied by her flamboyant and sartorially attired promoter Pepe Gomez, the new WBC light flyweight champion, Yesenia Gomez, was  presented with the video and the  belt which honors her as absolute champion.

Yesenia, who triumphed in a rematch fight against Esmeralda Moreno, was palpably moved by the great reception and ovation, assuring  that she`ll never forget this incredible day, while  cradling the green and gold belt in her hands, which crystalizes and vindicates her life’s dream and career of hard work.

“Today is a very happy day for me.  I do not have the sufficient words to thank all of those who`ve  made the dream of my life possible, especially my promoter Pepe Gómez, my team headed by Rubén Lira and of course Mr. Mauricio Sulaiman.  All of them trusted in me and gave me the opportunity to get up into  ring to prove what I`m made of.

“I`m  a woman of challenges and I assure you that I will defend my crown against the very best opponents, always maintaining  the honor of representing the most important organization…the WBC,” declared  “The Kid.”
