The WBC has ordered a period of free negotiations to finalize the mandatory duel between super popular British WBC heavyweight world champion “The Gypsy King” Tyson Fury and mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte.
Therefore, Interested parties, Top Rank (Bob Arum) and Queensberry Promotions (Frank Warren), who represent Fury, and Matchroom Boxing (Eddie Hearn), who represent Whyte, were notified and have 30 days to reach an agreement.
This is the text of the WBC’s official letter:
“The WBC hereby orders the start of the free negotiations period pursuant to the WBC Rules & Regulations for the mandatory bout between WBC World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury and Mandatory Challenger and WBC Interim World Champion Dillian Whyte.“

A really interesting clash Fury vs White… although many fans were hoping for Fury vs Usyk, or Fury vs Joshua.
Still, should the unbeaten super star Tyson Fury come out victorious against White, its probably that we’ll see him against Usyk or Joshua in 2022.
