WBC wishes Dickie Cole a speedy recovery

World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaimán Saldívar, and the entire boxing family, send their very best wishes for the speedy and total recovery of our dear friend Dick Cole.

“Uncle Dickie” as we affectionately know him, has some health problems,  but is facing them bravely.

Dickie was President of the Texas Commission for more than 30 years, in addition to being President of the NABF from 1993 to 1994. He met his wife Joann and married at the age of 18. He has been a member of the WBC for many years and his son Laurence is following in his footsteps.

“Cole Insurance” (Dickie and Laurence) are responsible for providing all life insurance to the boxers who contest WBC titles, and they have done this for many years.

Uncle Dickie….Your WBC family warmly sends you and your family a great big hug!
