Shokran Parwani showed great potential on August 5 in Essen, Germany, when he broke down more experienced opponent Frank Bluemle to win the vacant World Boxing Federation (WBF) International Cruiserweight title.
The 25-year-old Afghanistan-born, Hamburg-based Southpaw impressively stopped Bluemle in the fifth round, and improved his professional record to 8-0 (7) since making his debut thirteen months earlier.
This achievement makes Parwani the WBF Boxer Of The Month for August 2017.
