According to various reports, former WBO cruiserweight world champion Latvian Mairis Briedis (26-1, 19 KO’s) could be facing reigning IBF cruiser world champion Yuniel Dorticos (24-1, 22 KO’s) of Cuba in the long-awaited World Boxing Super Series (WBSS) cruiserweight tournament final on September 26 in Germany.

Given the destructive hands power of both warriors, it’s likely that the war might not make the distance.

The venue for the hot clash hasn’t been revealed as there is no official announcement from the WBSS yet.
