Pedro “Rattle Snake” Taduran (12-1) leaves today to prepare the biggest fight of his career as he face the formidable Thailander Chayapoon Moonsri (50-0) for the WBC (World Boxing Council) minimum world championship. This coming August 29,2018.

Moonsri is no stranger in the world stage has held the WBC minimum champion since November of 2014 and has beaten 20 Filipinos amongst them are Roel Gade, Danny Linasa, Dennis Juntilliano, Armando Dela Cruz, Ardin Diale, Ruel Lagunero, Jayson Rotoni, Ronelle Ferreras, Remy Cuambot, Noli Morales, Florante Condes, Jetly Purisima, Crison Omayao, Albert Alcoy, Jonathan Refugio, Jerson Luzarito, Rolio Golez, Raul Pusta Jr., Jeffery Galero, Jerry Tomogdan, Melvin Jerusalem, Jeysever Abcede.

Moonsri has never fought outside his country while Taduran will fight outside the country for the first time.

A farmer’s son Pedro Taduran Jr. has gone along way, from a boy that’s being underestimated by his opponent during his amateur days, until winning the Philippine minimum champion and now a world title challenger.

He may lack in experience compare to his adversary but this guy has the heart of a true warrior, I personally saw his fight in Moncada, Tarlac as he challenged Philip Luis Cuerdo for the PBF minimum championship, where he was knockdown on the very 1st round but came back and beat Cuerdo via TKO.

He also has beaten Jerry Tomogdan for the Philippine minimum championship, He Kayoed Tomogdan on the 5th round.

An average of 69.23% knockout rate will he be able to finally the one who will put an end on Thai’s winning streak?
