Last night was a magnificent night for World Boxing Council activity here in Asia as two new champions were crowned on a night of high-octane action in Singapore on the Singapore Fighting Championship promotion.
Rising talent Muhammad Ashiq scored a sensational 5th round stoppage victory over Indonesian
pugilist Galih Susanto to become the new WBC International silver champion.
With the win, Ashiq improves his professional record to 6-0, whilst Susanto drops to 16-9-1.
In another night of glory for the city states boxers Nurshahidah Roslie was crowned as the WBC Asia female super-bantamweight champion.
She defeated Thailand’s Kanchana Tungthaisong via a 4th round stoppage victory to claim the vacant title.
Rosalie improves to 10-2-0, whilst Tungthaisong drops to 13-5-3.
