Wlad glad for Big Brother

Wladimir Klitschko is immensely proud that older brother Vitali has brought the World Boxing Council Convention to Kiev.

At the first night cocktail at the magnificent Fairmont Hotel, he said: “It’s great to have the Convention in Kiev. To have a former WBC champion hosting the Convention, is incredible. It shows  that boxers and boxing possesses different facets. It’s a dream come true and so exciting.

“I also think that heavyweight boxing is very interesting moment. When you have a hundred thousand people gathering at a  stadium to see a heavyweight boxing match,  it means heavyweight boxing is in!”

Wladimir who’s sparred with both and fought Joshua, showed his own diplomatic and political skills, when asked about the merits of Wilder and Joshua,  saying favoring one would be disrespecting the other.

“They are both tall heavy, strong and determined.  It’s difficult to pick one because they have their strong sides and other sides.  The one who’ll exploit the weaknesses  will win.

“Joshua is young and strong, won the Olympic medal  and he’s hungry.  While Wilder is experienced and lighter on the scales.  One day we’ll hopefully see the match.”
