Wladimir Klitschko, a champion with a big heart

By WBCboxing.com

On February 13, 1999, Wladimir Klitschko fought Montenegrin Zoran Vujicic, whom he defeated by knockout.

Zoran, who became a fan and friend of Wladimir, retired from boxing with a record of 18 wins and 2 losses, because he was diagnosed with  multiple sclerosis.

Upon learning of this situation, Wladimir showed his caring nature by giving him support for medical treatment.

“During my career I had the fortune to face Wladimir in the ring. I have no words to thank him for what he has done for me. I was even his special guest in some boxing cards and he made me feel like a champion. Wladimir is like a brother to me,” commented Vujicic.

Wladimir Klitschko, former Olympic champion of Atlanta 1996, former professional heavyweight world champion, doctor of pedagogy and above all a great humanist, continues supporting his friend Zoran.
