WONDERFUL 55th WBC CONVENTION TO LOOK FORWARD TO!

WBC 55th Annual Convention to be held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, from 1-6 October will be innovative, progressive, cutting edge, historic…and fun!

In Baku, the attractive and beautiful city next to the Caspian Sea, we expect an attendance of 800 people, who will share their expertise, talents, enthusiasm, knowledge and willingness to make

this a significant, forward moving and important plus for our cherished sport.   Issue will include: world classifications, appointment of compulsory fights, medical seminars, officer seminars, improvement of different rules, awards, annual report of our President, Mauricio Sulaimán Saldívar, tributes, recognitions, videos of fights, visits to hospitals and orphanages, presentations of champions, both current and past, to deepen the importance of WBC Cares, activities of all affiliated Federations, our relationships with VADA, amateur boxing, as well as general themes.

And of course there will also be fun, featuring the “Talent Show” and a very important series of attractions that present the city and host parties. Journalists will be covering this unique event, creating hundreds of news stories and articles, radio, television and internet, as Baku becomes the hub of the boxing World during this fascinating and unforgettable week.
