WSOF IRFA 10 TO STREAM LIVE ON WSOFGC.COM THIS WEEKEND

LAS VEGAS, NV September 14, 2016 World Series of Fighting – Global Championship (WSOF-GC) is pleased to announce that it’s Swedish affiliate, International Ring Fight Arena (IRFA) will air live on September 17 with IRFA 10: MMA GALA. The main event will feature a welterweight matchup between Sweden’s Oliver Enkamp (4-0) against Netherland’s Arne Boekee (4-1).

Enkamp, a mainstay in the IRFA organization, hails from the Combat Academy in Stockholm. The young Swede sets his focus on achieving a higher goal than just having his hand raised at the end of his bout. “My goal is to have the perfect fight,” Enkamp explained in a pre-fight interview.

“A perfect fight means I will get all my techniques and skills out there.” He admits that fights in the gym are very different from fights in the IRFA octagon.

The Dutch submission specialist Boekee makes his IRFA debut and brings experience from four other organizations with him. The Team Thrive fighter will be looking to upset the local dynamo.

He explains being part of the main event is a clear opportunity for him to prove his abilities to the world, “My opponent is a well-known fighter and a win over him will be good for me. I love being the main event.”

The IRFA 10 co-main event between Guram Kutateladze (6-2) and Gocha Smoyan (7-6) is all about showing the world what Georgia brings to MMA. The two fighters made their professional debuts on the same card in their homeland in 2010. Both previously trained on the same team, taking fights in varying events across Europe. Now the two find themselves face-to-face in Sweden. “We can be friends outside the cage, but when it’s time, it’s time,” says Kutateladze. “I will do my job and he will do his.”

Also on the main card is Germany prospect Nasrat Haqparast (6-1), who brings a five-fight win streak to IRFA. He is an exciting fighter having competed as the main event or co-main event in his last three matches, with all six of his wins coming by KO/TKO.

“We are excited to bring our very first affiliate live stream to our WSOF Global audience,” exclaimed Zachary ‘Bootsy’ Harris, WSOF-GC Affiliate Coordinator. “There are many great events already up for our viewers to watch at wsofgc.com, but this is the next step. We plan to bring live events to our audience from all of our affiliates.”

Bringing their events to our audience with a live feed has always been the ultimate goal. This event will set a precedent for our MMA families around the world and with our fans.”
