Shinsuke, comes from defending his crown, by knocking out Carlos Carlson in the seventh round last March. That was the twelfth defense of his crown, the second longest streak ever seen by a Japanese champion.
Nery has been a WBC Continental Americas and Silver champion. On the busy side, he’s defeated Carlos Fontes, Jether Oliva, John Mark Apolinaro, Martín Casillas, David “Tornado” Sánchez, Richie Mepranum, Raymond Tabugon and Jesús Martínez.
