“Kingry” Ryan Garcia (23-0, 19 KO’s) embraces his Dominican Republic opponent Javier “El Abejon” Fortuna (R) after dropping and stopping him in 6 rounds in Oscar de la Hoya’s exciting show Saturday (July 16) in Los Angeles, Calif, live on DAZN.
The 23-year-old Ryan knocked down his foe in rounds 4, 5 and 6, finishing him at the the 27 second mark in round 6, Ryan Garcia looking fast, composed and superbly strong during the main event battle.
After his win, the hard-swining Garcia reiterated his willingness to fight Gervonta “Tank” Davis next.
Davis is promoted by Money Mayweather, while Ryan by Oscar. Will the two camps steat down to negotiate a fight wants would love to see? Davis does not have an assigned opponent for fall.
Will it be Garcia?
Will the two undefeated stars of the lightweight division get in the ring for one of the most popular fights of the year?
