Welterweight olympian Yordenis Ugas (17-3, 8 KOs) scored a fourth round TKO over previously unbeaten rising prospect Bryant Perrella (14-1, 13 KOs) on Tuesday night at the Buffalo Thunder Casino, New Mexico. Ugas came out strong and dominated the fight from round one, dropping Perrella to the canvas. In round four Ugas knocked down Perrella yet again. Perrella got up but Ugas was on top of him instantly, landing blow after blow causing the referee to stop the fight. The time was 2:20.
Undefeated welterweight Ryan ‘Cowboy’ Karl (14-0, 10 KOs) scored a fourth round knockout over Jose Felix Quezada (11-2, 6 KOs). Karl dropped Quezada in round one and finished him at the end of round four with another knockdown.
Super featherweight Cesar Alan Valenzuela (14-4-1, 4 KOs) scored an eight round split decision over Dennis Galarza (13-3, 8 KOs). Scores were 77-75, 77-75 Valenzuela, 77-75 for Galarza.
Unbeaten welterweight prospect Emmanuel Medina (11-0, 8 KOs) scored a second round TKO over Francisco Medel (9-5, 5 KOs). In round two Medina knocked down Medel. The referee waved off the fight in the middle of the count. Time was 1:54.
