World Boxing Organisation Asia Pacific Middleweight champion Yuki Nonaka of Osaka will defend his crown against Koki Koshikawa of Tokyo on July 23 at the EDION Arena in Osaka, Japan.
It will be the second title defense of Yuki, who is also the Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation middleweight champion.
Yuki (34W-10L-3D, 10 KOs), now 43, scored a split decision over Hyun Min Yang of South Korea to retain his WBO Asia Pacific middleweight title last Sept. 16, 2019, at EDION Arena.
Earlier, Yuki knocked down once Shinobu Charlie Hosokawa in the 1st round to beat by a unanimous decision and win both the WBO AP and OPBF last Feb. 24, 2019.
Koki (9W-2L-0D, 6 KOs), on the other hand, lost to Hironobu Matsunaga by a TKO in the 4th round last Nov. 2, 2019, in Korakuen Hall.
The promoter of the bubble boxing event is Taisei Marumoto of Taisei Promotions.
