Japanese Yuko Kuroki 黒木優子 (22-7-2, 9 KO’s) of Fukuoka scored a close, hard-fought 10-round Majority Decision Win over game Mexican Montserrat “Raya” Alarcon (18-5-2, 0 KO’s), to claim the Unified WBA/WBO Atomweight (102 Lbs), World Titles today, Saturday August 5, in Kobe, Japan.
Scores were 96-94 (x2), and 95-95, favoring the smiling 32-year-old Yuko Kuroki.
The battle was promoted by Kobe Promoter Masato Yamashita of Shinsei Promotions, live online on U-Next stream.
