Yumi beats Mont Blanc by UD

Orthodox Yumi Narita of Himeji, Hyogo beat Mont Blanc Miki of Tokyo by a unanimous decision to retain the Japanese female minimumweight title last Dec. 13 at the EDION Arena in Osaka, Japan.

The 31-year old Yumi got the scores of 58-56 (Nobuto Ikebara), 59-55 (Jun Kawakami) and 60-54 (Kenji Kondo).

It was the first defense by Yumi from the vacant title she took from away Yumiko Shimoka by a unanimous decision last Jan. 27, 2020 at the Korakuen Hall.

Yumi now has five wins against four losses and three draws while Mont Blanc dropped to four defeats with four wins and one draw.
