Zamboanga siblings, Fil-am Pinay set to showcase the Filipino Spirit at One: New Breed

Top-ranked Filipina atomweight warrior Denice Zamboanga will once again try to maintain her unblemished record as she takes on Thai National Judo champion Watsapinya Kaewkhong in an atomweight clash alongside her brother Drex who is set to go toe-to-toe against Detchadin “Detchpool” Sornsirisuphathin in the bantamweight division for his One fight debut., as Filipino-American KC Carlos will mettle it out with Wondergirl Fairtex in a Muay Thai flyweight showdown on Friday, August 28 at the Bangkok Arena for the One: New Breed last series.

Zamboanga, who had seen action earlier this year against Japanese phenom Mei Yamaguchi, had endured the pandemic lockdown and remained steadfast to her MMA aspirations as she vows to make another spectacular performance against a judoka, one step nearer to her One atomweight world title dream.

Meanwhile, brother Drex ‘T-rex’ is nothing but excited to put on the table what he’s got in his first One stage fight. Drex is the former Universal Reality Combat Championships (URCC) world bantamweight champion.

Another Filipino, KC Pinay Fight’ Carlos who debuts against two-time National Muay Thai champion Wondergirl has her focus on giving a fight that will make everyone notice what she has to offer, especially her ‘kababayans’.

One Muay Thai atom weight world champion Stamp Fairtex headlines the event as she will be defending her belt against a dangerous opponent, Brazilian Allycia Rodrigues.
