Former champion Catherine Phiri is audaciously moving up from bantamweight to super bantamweight, trying to conquer a new world belt, on Saturday night.
After losing the WBC banatmweight title against Mariana Juarez, Catherine won her next fight by KO, to became the challenger for the super bantamweight belt of the WBC which is in the hands of Kenyan Fatuma Zarika.
Zarika won the title by defeating Alicia Ashley on October 1, 2016.
Both fighters easily passed the official weigh in, which will be at Carnival Gardens, Nairobi.
