WBC super flyweight champion, Zulina Muñoz, came to the WBC weekly conference to recall and relate a bumpy encounter against rugged Carolina Alvarez, who she defeated by UD, successfully defending her crown for the 10th time.
Zulina stated that Carolina was far from an easy rival, as she was hungry, ambitious, rough and ready.
No huff and puff! Zulina is already plotting the next challenge of her career as she wants to fight against the best fighters of the fivision, including champions of the other organization. On this point, she was clear on stating she doesn’t want other titles as she only wants the WBC belt.
Next goal, is to pass the record of the great Ana Maria Torres of 10 WBC super flyweight defenses. Zulina says she feels exceptionally strong as super flyweight, but she doesn’t dismiss the possibility of climbing up to the bantamweight division, where curiously she stared fighting.
