2021 The Year of Boxing for the WBC

2020 has been a difficult year and sport, in general, has suffered an unexpected blow, but it is something that cannot be avoided.

2021 will be recognized as “The Year of Boxing” by the WBC because in addition to having a large number of celebrations, we are sure that boxing will be at its best.

In the “Year of Boxing” we will celebrate important events in our sport. The 100th anniversary of the birth of Sugar Ray Robinson, the centenary of the first fight that had a million-dollar box office profit, The half-century anniversary of the Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier fight, the 90th birthdays of historic promoters Bob Arum and Don King, among many others.
