Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev this Saturday in England!

In a much-awaited battle, unified WBA/WBO heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua will be defend his titles against mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev of Bulgaria this Saturday, December 12, at the SSE Arena in Wembley, London, England.

Anthony Joshua (23-1, 21 KO’s) regained his belts and his position as the Unified World Heavyweight Champion after scoring a unanimous decision victory over Mexican-American Andy Ruiz Jr. last December at the Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia.

The December 12 rumble will be Joshua’s first fight on British soil in more than two years since defending his crowns with a devastating 7th round KO over veteran Russian Alexander Povetkin at Wembley Stadium.

This Saturday Joshua will aim to grapple with Pulev in style to set up an undisputed showdown against British compatriot WBC heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury.

Meanwhile, the tough Kubrat Pulev (28-1, 14 KO’s), who is the IBF # 1 mandatory challenger, gets his 2nd shot at the world title after losing to legendary Wladimir Klitschko 6 years ago.

That has been Pulev’s only loss of his 29 fight pro career. Since that hard night, the Bulgaria warrior has won 6 battles in a row, including victories over Derek Chisora and a KO over Hughie Fury in 2018.

Pulev was ready to rumble Joshua, at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff in October 2017, but he was forced to wait till Saturday due to an injury,

Now he will have the opportunity to ruin the plans of the Champion Anthony Joshua to fight Tyson Fury in what would be a mega-blockbuster showdown.
