Last Saturday at the MGM Grand of Las Vegas, Nevada, the undefeated Japanese and Olympic Champion in London 2012, Ryota Murata, starred in his 11th bout as pro winning clearly over George Thdooahnippah by TKO in the first round.
This fight was part of the undercard of Terence “Bud” Crawford vs Viktor Postol, where Crawford got the victory by UD to conquer the WBC super lightweight belt.
Ryota Murata displayed a piercing array of left jabs followed by powerful right hooks, knocking down his rival in the first round.
The Referee decided to stop the fight after noticing George Thdooahnippah was receiving too much punishment.
Ryota Murata is a boxing gem from Japan. He is proudly represented by Akihiko Honda, from Teiken Boxing Gym in association with Bob Arum of Top Rank.
