Andales retires Padiran in 3rd round

DAVAO CITY – Orthodox ArAr “Asero” Andales retired Zandy Padiran in the 3rd round last Dec. 6 in Rizal, Laguna.

The 21-year old Andales landed 12 wins with four knockouts against two setbacks while Padiran suffered his 3rd loss against three wins and one draw.

Meanwhile, light flyweight Jerome Baloro of Bacoor scored a technical knockout over Mark Jequinto of Zamboanga Sibugay in the 5th round in the undercard.

In the other bouts: Reynold Vargas beat Michael Sarili by a unanimous decision while Jerio Gatchalian stopped Jumari Mansueto in the 1st round.

It was promoted by Gerry Balmes.
