World-ranked, former world-title challenger Jaime Arboleda (18-2, 14 KO’s) of Panama came back up from 2 journeys to the canvas in round two to claim the WBC Latino Silver 130-pound Belt with a hard-fought majority decision win over tough, coming-forward Dominican Republic warrior Nicolás “La Pantera” Polanco (20-2-1, 11 KO’s) Friday January 14, at the Hotel El Panama in Panama.
In the co-feature, undefeated Argentina Super Lightweight Hugo Alberto Roldan (20-0-1, 7 KO’s) scored a 10-round majority decision win over Colombian German del Castillo (10-2-2, 7 KO’s).
And in women’s action, unbeaten California Flightweight girl Gabriela Fundora (5-0) dropped and outclassed Nataly Delgado of Panama for an 8-rounds unanimous decision win.
