Argentinian Opponent for Nicklaus Flaz on January 31 in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – Former member of the National Amateur Boxing Team, Nicklaus Flaz (8-1, 6 KO’s) will face Argentina’s Miguel Ángel Suárez, while in a “civil war,” while Puerto Ricans Israel “El Heredero” Vázquez and René Santiago will fight for WBO Latino titles in two of the main fights of the first the show “A Puño Limpio” to be held on January 31 at the Rubén Zayas Montañez Coliseum in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico.

The show is a presentation of PR Best Boxing Promotions (PRBBP ) in association with Spartan Boxing, set to be broadcast LIVE on www.facebook.com/PRBestBoxing and later-on on TV on Wapa Sports.

“Nicklaus Flaz will fight against experienced 38-year-old Miguel Angel Suarez (15-5, 9 KO’s) of Argentina in a 10-round clash that will start the 2020 boxing series. The event will also have two regional title fights and a total of eight bouts,” said promoter Iván Rivera, president of PRBBP (PR Best Boxing Promotions).

The Vegalteño Nicklaus Flaz (8-1, 6 KO’s), who comes from two stoppage victories in the “A Puño Limpio” of September and November 2019, will fight 10 rounds at 147 pounds against the Argentinian Suárez (15- 5, 9 KO’s) in one of the stellar battles of the evening.

In another of the main fights of the night, the Bayamonian Israel “El Heredero” Vázquez (10-3-2, 7 KO’s), who is son of former three-time world monarch Wilfredo Vázquez and brother of former world champ Wilfredo Vázquez Jr., will face Humacaeño René Santiago (7-2, 6 KO’s) for the WBO Latino belt at 108 pounds and 10 rounds.

The other starting clash of the night will be between the Puerto Rican Pedro “Pedrito” Márquez (11-1, 7 KO’s) and Juan Carlos Peña (30-1, 22 KO’s) of the Dominican Republic, who will face each other for a regional belt of the WBO at 126 pounds and 10 rounds.

The action will also have six rounder of Jean Rivera (6-1, 1 KO) fighting tough Mexican Rodrigo Solís (4-2-1, 2 KO’s) at 149 pounds, and Abiel Álamo (5-2, 4 KO’ss) against Luis Enrique Rivera (2-8, 2 KO’s) at 132 pounds.

In a four-rounders, Jonathan Irizarry (3-1, 3 kos) will collide against Argentina’s José Aubel (8-7, 7 KO’s) at 134 pounds, Christian Barreto (4-0, 4 KO’s) will engage Jesus Feliciano (0-15) at 135 pounds, and Yadiel Camacho will debut against an opponent yet to be confirmed at 120 pounds.
