“BARBY” VS “TIGRESS” BOTH HAVE EARNED THEIR STRIPES!

On November 11th  in Irapuato, Guanajuato, two elite and vastly experienced fighters will contest for the WBC World Boxing Council female bantamweight title, when champion Mariana ‘Barby’ Juarez fights German Alesia ‘The Tigress’ Graf in a duel that will be seen throughout Mexico, via Televisa Deportes screens.

Between them these seasoned fighters have contested more than 100 professional fights, proving they’re no strangers to the  strategy of the Noble Art.

Mariana (46-9-4, 17 KO’s) has been world champion in three different divisions. She has faced Sue Chase, Jessica Tate, Ana Maria Torres, Elena Reid, In Young Lee, Carla Witherspoon, Myung Ok Ryu, Suzanah Warner, Esmeralda Moreno, Susana Vazquez, Carolina Álvarez, Simona Galasi, Asami Shikasho, Anastasia Toktaulova, Arely Muciño, Shindo Go, Tenkai Tsunami, Melissa McMorrow, Naoko Fujioka, Noemí Bosques, Tamao Ozawa, Daniela Bermúdez and Catherine Phiri.

Graf, whose birth name is Alesia Klimovich (29-6, 13 KO’s), has reigned in a couple of weight categories fighting tough and resourceful opponents including:  Dahiana Santana, Alicia Ashley, Sharon Gaines, Esmeralda Moreno, Magdalena Dalhen, Ana María Torres, Susie Ramadan, Zulina Muñoz, Yazmín Rivas and Bukiwe Nonina.

The clash between  “Barby” and ‘Tigress’ heads the card presented by Promociones del Pueblo.
