Former WBC super middleweight champion Sakio “The Scorpion” Bika (33-7-3, 22 KOs), from Cameroon and resident of Sydney, stopped local fighter Luke Sharp (14-6-3, 6 KOs) at the Fraternity club, Fairy Meadow, New South Wales, Australia on Saturday night.
The referee halted the bout in round seven of the scheduled twelve round bout. So, Bika captured the super middleweight WBC Asian Council Continental title.
Sakio’s previous bout was a world title fight where he lost a twelve round decision to WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson in 2015.
