Bernaldez to Face Argentinian Foe in US Debut March 22

By Sanman Boxing

Another Sanman prospect is getting a big break to fight on US soil. Lightweight Mark Bernaldez (17-2, 12 KO’s) will be facing Argentinian knockout artist Ruben Mino (19-3, 17 KO’s) in Miami, Florida on March 22, 2019.

The fight is organized by MR Promotions and William Ramirez.

According to Saman CEO Jim Claude Manangquil, “this is a tough debut for Bernaldez. As you see on his record Mino is a beast with a high knockout rate.

“Bernaldez had several issues in his recent fight in Australia. That is why we got Cuban Coach Moro Fernandez to help improve Mark’s fighting style. He is focused on winning and knows it’s his ticket to bigger fights.”

Bernaldez has been training in Florida for the last two months.

“I am happy with Coach Moro’s training. His Cuban methods are new to me, but I feel like I’m a better fighter under his watch. My opponent is tough. I have to be tough, but wise. I badly need this win to put my career in the right direction. I am ever grateful to Sanman or giving me this chance”, Bernaldez stated.
