THE BEST SUPER FLYWEIGHTS FACE-TO-FACE IN LOS ANGELES

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The super flyweight category, one of boxing’s most exciting division, will yet again be making history on Saturday, September 9 at the StubHub Center in Carson, California when the world’s best fighters collide.

In the main event of the night, World Boxing Council champion, Thai SRISAKET SOR RUNGVISAI, (43-4-1, 39 KO’s) will defend his crown against former world champion ROMAN “CHOCOLATITO” GONZALEZ (46-1-0, 38 KO’s) of Nicaragua, in a rematch of their epic battle of last March in New York.

In another barnburner, former WBC super flyweight CARLOS “PRINCIPE” QUADRAS, (36-1-1, 27 KO’s) from Mexico fights former world flyweight champion JUAN FRANCISCO “EL GALLO” ESTRADA(35-2-0 , 25 KO’s) also Mexican, in  an eliminatory duel.

But there`s more!    Japanese sensation, NAOYA “THE MONSTER” INOUE, (13-0-0, 11 KO’s) will be making his long-awaited debut in the United States against world ranked ANTONIO “CARITA” NIEVES, (17-1- 2, 9 KO’s).

“I am training very hard to get the crucial victory. Fans will see another great fight between us and I am sure that I will return home with the belt. It`s just an honor for me to face a legend like Gonzalez, who`s the best rival  I`ve encountered so far.  I thank the WBC, HBO and K2 Promotions for this new  and fresh opportunity to get into the ring with a great fighter and also for defending  my world championship, “said Sor Rungvisai.

“I am ready to return and regain my WBC super flyweight championship title against Sor Rungvisai on September 9.  I know exactly what I have to do to be victorious and with the help of God I’m going to be a world champion again. I always thank Mr. Honda, K2 Promotions and HBO for these opportunities, “said Gonzalez.

“I look forward to returning to the ring next September 9 to face Juan Estrada, who is a very tough boxer, but I will certainly be victorious. I will give the fans a great bout and then  I will face the winner of the fight between Gonzalez and Sor Rungvisai to recover my world championship,”  smilingly promised Cuadras.

“Carlos Quadras is a great champion, but he is right in my way and I have to move him aside to achieve my goal: To be the best super super flyweight in the world,” chirped and unflappable “El Gallo.”
