Is WBC/WBA/IBF middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin under the weather? Rumors that GGG is ill have been denied by the Golovkin camp. “Absolutely no truth. He’s just in fight mode. He’s focused and ready to do what he’s got to do,” trainer Abel Sanchez told Sky Sports. Kell Brook’s promoter Eddie Hearn stated he “didn’t think Golovkin looked that great.”One thing that is certain is late money is flowing in on Brook. This morning Golovkin was a -700 favorite at 5dimes. Now he is a -640 pick.

Former IBF featherweight champion Evgeny Gradovich(22-2-1, 9 KOs) struggled to a ten round split decision over journeyman Eusebio Osejo (28-18-3, 8 KOs) on Friday night at the Traktor Sport Palace in Chelyabinsk, Russia. Gradovich was dropped in round two.

Today, September 9, is the deadline for enrollment in theWBC/VADA Clean Boxing Program. Any boxer who is not completely enrolled will not be eligible to compete in any WBC sanctioned bout and will be removed from the WBC ratings.
