This coming August 14th is the start of one of the most ambitious projects in Ukraine from which the new boxing stars are intended to grow.
The seed of this is germinating in the amateur tournament “Boxing Jungle” with the support of B1 Boxing Promotions, a promoter that wants to take the Ukrainian sports industry to the next level, with quality events in this region with the support of the WBC.
This was announced by Mykola Kovalchuk, director of the WBC office in Ukraine, and Alina Shaternikova, Vice President of the Professional Boxing League of Ukraine and a member of the WBC, with the official launch, during the traditional WBC Martes de Cafe.
The tournament, which will celebrate its finals in November aims to give Ukrainian fighters the opportunity to show their potential and successfully start their careers as professionals and it is that it should be clarified that the winners will have the opportunity of earning the exclusive attention of promoters on their way to boxing’s elite, signing a promotional agreement that will propel them towards the big fights.
All judges, referees, and supervisors will be members of the WBC and at the end of the tournament, they will receive recognition from the WBC University.
It`s an opportunity for Ukrainian talent to prominently position themselves in the public eye, as the tournament will be broadcast live.
