THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN! ‘CANELO’ AND CHÁVEZ JR SWEEP INTO LAS VEGAS WITH A LOT AT STAKE

Cheered on by hundreds of fervent  fans, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Julio César Chávez jr  made their Las Vegas grand entrances, one after the other,  in the ticking countdown prior to Saturday`s  one on one hand to hand combat.
The MGM Grand hotel hosted the first-fist official event of the week. Mariachi music lilted in the lobby of the hotel and its corridors, where fans festooned with banners of their favorites  held an impromptu private party.  Julio was first on the scene,  thanking the fans for cheering him on: “We are so happy to finally be in fight week fight and I`m ready to give you  a great fight.”

Julio highlighted his great physical preparation, peaking for May 6 clash,  recalling that his rival already lost a mega fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr., and that he expects a war: “I think the fight is going to be historic!”

“Canelo” was next escorted by his team, relaxed and in no particular hurry, ambling while promising: “It`ll be a great fight, I`ll certainly do my part to make the fans happy.”
