CUBAP BOXING URUGUAYAN SAYS GOODBYE TO MEXICO

After six hard working and fruitful weeks, the winners of the MERCOSUR “José Sulaimán” amateur tournament, Jonathan Herrera, Amilcar Vidal, Víctor Rodriguez, Alexander Domínguez and Sebastián Mila, will return to their native Uruguay, stronger and ready to put into practice everything they`ve learned during their stay In Mexico.

Grateful to the entire WBC team, especially Abraham Ibarra, the event and logistics coordinator, the amateur stars expressed their desire to return to Mexico, recognizing that it is a country that produces so many world champions.

The Uruguayan team was staying at the CENAR, a high performance center.They`ll travel home next Tuesday, but prior to that on Saturday, they`ll compete in their last amateur tournament at the Coyoacan gym.
