THE DEF Fight Night 15 will also be shown on Facebook Live on May 13 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Hong Kong.
“This is to further promote professional boxing in Hong Kong,” said DEF Promotions founder and Director Jay Lau.
DEF Promotions is going to broadcast the show in its own Facebook Page starting from 7pm HKT (UTC+08:00) to gain more attention to professional boxing from all around Asia.
The main event will feature undefeated Japanese super bantamweight Ayumi Goto (6-0, 4 knockouts) against Thailand’s Sumanthar Benkham (1-2).
The co-main event will have another Japanese fighter Sho Kimura (13-1-2, 6 KOs) against Thai flyweight Wisitsak Saiwaew (4-4, 2 KOs).
“This is another exciting card with fighters also coming from the Philippines, United Kingdom, South Africa and Hong Kong,” said Lau.
Filipino boxer Crison Omayao (21-13-4, 7 KO) faces Japanese Makoto Matsuyama (8-11-2, 3 KO) for six rounds in the super flyweight division while United Kingdom’s Tom Taw (2-1) clashes with Hong Kong’s Chan Chun Hin, who is making his debut in the middleweight division.
