FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD – JACOBS VOWS TO WRECK ALL OF GGG’S PLANS

WBC middleweight champion, Kazakh Gennady “GGG” Golovkin (36-0, 33 KOs), will defend his crown against American Daniel “The Miracle Man” Jacobs (32-1, 29 KO’s) in the main event of “Middleweight Madness”  on March 18 at the legendary Madison Square Garden arena in New York City.

Born and raised in Brownsville, a location  that has produced many legendary world champions, including Mike Tyson and Riddock Bowe, Jacobs has scored great KO’S against outstanding opponents during his nine years as a pro.

“Gennady is a great fighter, he always has several fight plans. They can plan what they want and overestimate me, but in the end I will be victorious on March 18,” said Jacobs, from his training camp in Oakland, California.

In the most impressive fight of his career, on December 5, 2015, Jacobs dramatically defeated unbeaten former champion Peter Quillin in the first round in Brooklyn, New York.

Most recently, Jacobs knocked out Sergio Mora  in the seventh round on September 9, 2016. Jacobs has won his last 12 fights by knockout.
