FINE WEIGH IN FOR HIGA, MASSON, SHIRO AND GUEVARA

This Saturday in a hotel in Tokyo,  the official weigh in ceremony for two attractive fights on Sunday October  at the Kokugikan Arena, courtesy  of Teiken Promotion.

World Boxing Council flyweight champion, Daigo Higa (13-0 / 13KOs) weighed 50.7 kilograms, which is 100 grams below the limit, while French challenger # 5 WBC ranked Thomas Masson (17 -3-1 / 5KOs) recorded 50.6 kilograms. Daigo Higa is going to make the first defense of his title, which he conquered last May in Tokyo by knocking out Juan “Churritos” Hernández in the sixth round.

Meanwhile undefeated Japanese WBC light flyweight champion, from Kyoto, Ken Shiro (10-0 / 5KOs) and his Mexican challenger # 1 WBC world ranked and former world champion Pedro “Jibran” Guevara (30-2-1 / 17KOs) completed the official weigh in with the same weight of 48.7 kilograms, which is 200 grams below the limit. Shiro will make the first defense of his crown, which he won last May in Tokyo by narrowly  defeating  Mexican Ganigan “Maravilla” López by decision.
